Ooh, I had a lovely day on Tuesday! I skived off, up and away from my jewellery bench, and off to London to meet up with some bloggers for tea at Sketch, just off Regent Street. Have you ever been there? It is totally off-the-wall decor wise - an artist/designer has been given free rein in each of the huge rooms (and the smallest ones!), and the result is a surreal mix of different styles all hiding behind a tidy looking Georgian frontage. We had afternoon tea in 'the glade' (photo below), but there was a cave-like nightclub, huge dining rooms in opulent styles and egg shaped pod loos! There was another glass and crystal studded ladies toilet that had to be seen to be believed!

I was also chuffed to meet the lovely Sarah from one of my favourite blogs, Sarah Jane down the Lane, but somehow she managed to duck out of the photo!
Three hours later, and a quick squizz around Liberty's before catching the train home, it was one of those wonderful, one-off afternoons that I will never forget! Thanks girls, it was great meeting you all. xx
I loved, loved, LOVED it!! I won't forget it either - I keep replaying lovely bits in my mind!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad Sophie and I made it! Would have been so disappointed not to have seen you!
