Heart Gallery is a wonderful art gallery in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, owned and run by the remarkable Alison Bartram, her inspiring story of how the gallery started is here.
I feel so honoured to have been asked to provide a collection for the gallery's Summer Showcase exhibition which is based on the theme of nature and landscape - if you are nearby, do go along, it sounds so wonderful! Aside from jewellery there will be stunning ceramic work by Suet Yi and beautiful paintings by Natasha Newton, and lots more besides. To have my work alongside theirs really is a bit of a moment!
Here is a sneak peak at some of the pieces I sent, and what has kept me rather busy over the last few weeks!
Next up is a Private Viewing, a very exciting new online collaboration, a couple of craft market stalls and an big art fair - phew, please bear with me if I am a around a little less this summer, but visiting your blogs and answering your comments here is a priority because I really value this corner of the blogworld at Wild Acre and am so grateful to you all for all your encouragement and comments and feedback, means so much! Nearly the long weekend - out with the jubilee bunting and fizz! xx
