it has happened again


 solar geometry has shifted 


its angles re-configured


unleashing golden light 


in equations of alchemy


so golden


as if Midas passed this way.

    Hello Belinda:
    How beautifully you have captured the shifting season here in these marvellous photographs and words.

    Whilst recently in the UK we definitely felt the chill of autumn in the evenings and early mornings. On our return to Budapest we are still holding on to summer with warm sunny days and balmy evenings. It seemed too soon to say goodbye to summer so we are pleased to have been given a second chance.

    Eek! Autumn's coming! Great photography, really lovely shots.

    And YES I do need to learn to grow my own flowers. I am drinking up the information in your Friday cut flowers posts. I have absolutely no idea where to start in my teensy patch of garden but I do know exactly what I want to do so I'll be extra interested in your blog from now on - I'm guessing I need to get started in autumn.

    Here in the Loire Valley autumn has not yet shown the tip of his nose (as the French say). However the trees are heavily laden with fruit.
