Scabious, bupleurum, drumstick alliums, nigella seedheads, ammi majus, poppy seedheads, mint, stocks and annual gypsophila elegans "Covent Garden".
Abundance. Freshness. Reachtothesky-ness. Drinking in every moment of the midsummer loveliness that an English garden offers.
The most beautiful 'flower-arrangement' I have seen for a wile! Natural, delicate, with a cool feel on a hot summer day.

It takes a very clever 'arranger' to arrange flowers like this. They look so natural and 'unarranged', much nicer than formal bouquets.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, drinking it in with you.
ReplyDeleteA fireworks of flowers. A celebration of independence from traditional flower vendors,a beautiful 4th of July.
Loving that Covent Garden. Off to google.
